The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome two new staff members; Alex Farkas, Communication & Operations Specialist and Justin Gorman, Director of Partner Services.
We are proud to add them both to the Chamber team. They will work hard to supremely serve the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Partners and community through their roles.
Alexandra Farkas, Communication & Operations Specialist - Alexandra Farkas is the Communication and Operations specialist for the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce. She will graduate from the University of Wyoming in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with minors in Entrepreneurship and Management in addition to a concentration in Customer Experience Management.
Alexandra’s business experiences and academic work include areas of digital media, event planning, and marketing communications/strategy. She is a dynamic and innovative worker with passions for marketing strategy and management and has experience conducting, analyzing and interpreting both customer and competitor data. She enjoys all aspects of economic development, community building, event planning, and market research and analysis.
A native of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Alexandra’s strong desire to serve her community has kept her close to home. In her free time, she enjoys volunteer work, graphic design, painting, and spending time with her family and friends. Joining the Greater Chamber of Commerce team has been an excellent way for her to translate her passions into supporting the Cheyenne business community.
Justin Gorman, Director of Partner Services - Justin Gorman serves as the Director of Partner Services for the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce. As a native of Cheyenne, he brings a diverse background in marketing, sales, public relations and event management as he serves the business partners of the Cheyenne Community.
Prior to joining the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, Justin oversaw the ticket sales and operations for Cheyenne Frontier Days. Prior to that, he worked for Global Spectrum, a venue management company, where he was Event Manager and Marketing Coordinator of the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, CO and was also General Manager of the Cheyenne Ice & Events Center. He also spent five years in what he calls his “Out of Wyoming Experience” in Kansas City, MO working in Public Relations for the Kansas City Wizards Professional Soccer Team.
Justin is deeply involved in community service. He has served on the Board of the Cheyenne Kiwanis Foundation, Meals on Wheels of Cheyenne and the CFD Volunteer Crisis Fund. He is passionate about serving his community and making Cheyenne a better place to raise his kids.
In his free time, Justin enjoys golfing, camping, spending time with his wife and two boys and all things baseball, especially when it comes to the Kansas City Royals.
