A Sweet Mission: 650 Dozen Reasons Cheyenne Loves Its Airmen

Writer's picture: Kaitlin KnappKaitlin Knapp

What happens when you mix Cheyenne spirit, a mountain of sugar, and a whole lot of love? You get the 8th Annual Valentine’s Cookie Drive for Airmen!

This week, our Military Affairs Committee (MAC)—along with an army of dedicated volunteers—rolled up their sleeves and went full-on Cupid mode. Their mission? Prep, pack, and deliver thousands of homemade cookies to the Airmen at F.E. Warren Air Force Base. And folks, mission accomplished.

We’re talking over 650 dozen cookies. That’s 7,800 cookies—enough to make Santa jealous and send any diet plan into full retreat. But, every cookie carried a message of gratitude, community, and good ol’ Cheyenne hospitality.

This was about showing our Airmen that they’re part of something bigger—a community that has their backs and appreciates what they do.

To everyone who baked, packed, and delivered—you are the heart of Cheyenne. And to our Airmen, we hope you felt the love (and maybe needed a glass of milk).
